Ideally contact me when you are pregnant, you can’t get on my books too soon. I love scheduling your session for approximately three weeks after your due date. Then I request that you keep me informed on any scheduled inductions, caesareans or early or late labours. I remain flexible and don’t overbook so that I can accomodate the natural wonders of childbirth and the unexpected times of the first few weeks. If you have already had your baby please don’t let this stop you from getting in touch, I want you to have these photographs and will endeavour to fit you into my schedule and no newborn is too old for me!

If you have a chair and you have a window, you have all I need. I am so inspired by new places and finding the creative compositions and beautiful light in any space. This is what makes each session unique and beautiful.

I really love helping my families with sometimes the hardest decision to make when you have upcoming family photos. I will provide my styling guide and inspiration boards which focus on my earthy tones and textural fabrics for the perfect balance of timelessness and visual interest. I also have a client wardrobe full of beautiful newborn outfits, young childrenswear, maternity suitable dresses and breastfeeding friendly ideas. If you would like me to take care of it all, there’s that option too, I request all sizes about a month out and will send you a photograph of options laid out together combined for beautiful texture and colour interest. This can offer huge savings and environmental benefits for being able to use a special piece that may not get worn again.

I always prioritise comfort, confidence and still feeling like you! For example, if you’re not a dress-wearer, I’m definitely going to look at options other than a maxi length ruffle gown.

I give you my day, I schedule to allow for unsettled periods. I have a number of tricks up my sleeve to help and if your baby wants to be on you the whole time I will surprise you with a diverse and beautiful gallery all the same. I have been working with newborns for ten years and have not yet hat to reschedule for an unsettled baby.

I want your day to be as relaxed as possible and I want you to feel as much like yourself in your photos as you can in this ever-changing moment of your life. If that includes getting your hair and makeup done go for it, make sure it is someone you completely trust and have used before or viewed A LOT of their work on women your age. It’s the worst when you pay for professional hair and makeup only to look at yourself and not really recognise the lady behind the lashes!

If you are minimalist in that department normally, I would recommend giving yourself time baby free to do what you normally would for a nice day out with friends.

All immediate family and pets are included. We can discuss if you have a visiting relative that you would also like involved. I will give a custom quote or offer complimentarily based on their level of involvement.

I take up to three weeks to select your best images for your gallery and individually edit them in my signature style. Then you will receive your gallery and be able to download your photos and slideshow if you have selected a Journey package.

Your images will stay online for a year after your session. You can order wall art, prints and a variety of beautiful heirloom quality products. Your images are backed up with me for five years and can be accessed for a fee within that time if anything should happen.
