Newborn

A special time to be recorded in your home, plenty of moments with the whole family and just as many detailing every angle of your newest addition. The session includes all the time needed for going with the flow of feeding, sleeping and nappy changes.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
01My kids hate having their photo taken, are likely going to misbehave or are extremely shy, how is this going to work?
I approach every child differently and have a great sense for what they need. A slow start, some curious chats, games to invite their involvement or encouraging some quiet snuggles with Mum. I encourage my families not to place expectations on children, I want to capture them as authentically as all of my subjects. Simply let them know they’re there to have a great time sharing an after exploring or hanging our at home with their family, remind them it’ll be fun and I’ll come along to take some special photographs that will be printed for their home.
I avoid asking kids to smile, say cheese. Cliche photography tricks equal cliche photos which you won’t see in your gallery with me.
02What do we wear?
As unique as your family are so too will be your styling. I’ll give you plenty of inspiration and guidance and then we’ll choose a key outfit for you that you feel amazing in and work from there. I encourage layers, texture and earthy tones.
03Where should we go?
What photos of mine are you drawn to? Beach, bush, in the home? Will pets be there? Upon enquiring give me as much information as possible and we’ll plan your unique shoot from there. I have an extensive South East Queensland location guide and am comfortable and often inspired about shooting at new and meaningful locations to you.
04What happens afterwards?
I take three to four weeks to select your best images for your gallery and individually hand edit them to my signature style. You will be delivered your images in an online gallery where you can download all of your images. You will also receive a $100 print voucher to spend in my online print, frame and product store with the highest quality, Australian made products guaranteed.
