My Take on Personal Branding Photography
In a world where we are over saturated with content, visual content literally everywhere, it has never been more important for the images you use for your business and your brand to stand out, be professional and tell your clients more.
When I started taking personal branding sessions in addition to my family work it was a natural progression. Earlier professions of mine were as a veterinarian and as a yoga instructor. Photographing yoga teams in their studio and colleagues in the clinic, it became obvious to me that I loved telling the professional story of devoted humans with honest and true captures of them in their environment and doing what they love. And so… my Soul Trader shoots were born.
Nowadays I have upped the ante. I will take you deeper into knowing and understanding your brand and imagery needs. Developing the story and connection you would like to tell and create with your photographs. Personal branding is more than looking polished in a blazer and standing in front of a white wall. I will use questionnaires, mood boards and zoom calls to ensure we are on the same page and if your webpage design needs key images in landscape orientation, I won’t send you home with a whole gallery shot in portrait.
Yes, I love working with those in the wellness space but don’t let that stop you from reaching out if that isn’t your field but you connect with my style of work. I have captured everyone from my fellow veterinary professional and yogis to freelancers in marketing and copywrite. However if you are here from the yoga space, the added bonus is there if you want asana photos I can help with ensuring the ‘being-photographed-nerves’ don’t upset your Trikonasana alignment.
With a little embarrassment I also admit that I will likely have the perfect location for your shoot come to mind if you don’t have a suitable space. Whilst travelling, exploring with my family and scrolling the gram I am always saving inspiring Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Samford and further afield South East Queensland locations for possible shoot locations. Some to be hired for a fee and some free, natural spaces!
